In General
Every breeder who uses the services of the insemination station which is recognized based on the EU guidelines, accepts the terms and conditions given in the following as well as the terms and conditions for Breeding and Insemination by the respective breeding societies.
The stud fees include VAT and most be paid before semen is shipped.
If a mare is being inseminated for an embryo transfer, this must be made known to EQ Performance Center in advance.
Ordering Semen
We kindly ask you to order semen from Monday to Friday by 9:30 a.m. for same day shipments.
The following information must be provided by filling the request form:
-Desires stallion
-Name and complete address of the owner of the mare as well as member number of the responsible society
-Complete information about the mare (name, life number, copy of pedigree)
-Shipment address (with exact instructions where delivery should take place)
Shipment is carried out by a courier service and will be invoiced to the breeder separately. The risk of transporting the semen belongs to the breeder. The same applies when semen is picked up. Pick up address is GenTrans Pferdebesamung Muhlen GmbH, Kotterhof 1, D-49439 Steinfeld-Muhlen.
Semen containers that are not returned free of charge within a week will be invoiced to the breeder.
Important Note for Breeders from Abroad:
Along with the price of the semen, additional costs may occur for the necessary paperwork issued by the official government veterinarian.
Special Conditions
The full amount of the stud fee is to be paid before the frozen semen is shipped. If the mare is not in foal, the breeder has to supply proof -without being asked to do so- in the form of a veterinary certificate stating the name of the mare and the life number within 5 months from the invoicing date. In this occasion the second dose, if desired, will be sent with 50% deduction amount. This does not apply for frozen semen orders.
Place of Performance and Venue
The place of performance and venue is the domicile of the stallion owner. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the domicile of the stallion owner for all claims present and future arising from the business relationship, in this case Thessaloniki, Greece.
